The Tobacco it is a host plant, with thick and sticky leaves. It attracts useful fauna to summer gardens and vegetable preparations with insecticidal properties can also be made from it. It is a tall variety and can reach 2 m in height; for this reason it is usually sown at the head of each row, so as not to disturb and shade the crops.

It is sown from January to April to be transplanted from March to May and harvested between July and September. The sowing distance is 50 cm between plants.
