We prepare the seed campaign of winter varieties

We are already starting to prepare the winter variety campaign!
And thanks to the 2021 ethical savings grant from Caixa Colonya, we were able to acquire a germination chamber with which we can do the tests prior to the distribution of the seeds, controlling their exact temperature.

We also want to thank Caixa Colonya for inviting Aina Socies, an AVL employee, to participate as one of the voices of ethical savings in the Balearic Islands in the event that took place yesterday at the Chamber of Commerce of Majorca

The viability of stored seeds depends on many factors: temperature, humidity, pests, species... but as you can see, some of the varieties hold up very well over the years, such as the All Saints cauliflower, which shows no decline in the ability to germinate after eight years!
