"Fesol fava" bean

The "Fesol fava" bean is a little cultivated bean. It is flattened, with a white background and purple spots that vary in quantity and shape according to the selection made of the variety. The seed is eaten, not the pod. It can be eaten both dry and tender. In rice, it is usually used a little tender, and when it is very dry it is used more in stews, scalds, fattening and aguiats.

It's possible sow between August and November. Sowing is direct at a depth of about 10 cm and one distance between plants of about 15-20 cm.
