The "Bombilla" tomato is a bulb-shaped type of salad tomato. Very productive and with fleshy, red fruits that are good for post-harvest preservation, although they are not to be stored. Better to pipe for a better harvest.
When and how is it sown?
Yes sowing from mid-January to April. It can be transplanted from April to May, and harvested from July until the arrival of the first cold weather. The sowing distance is 50 cm between plants, and 70 cm between rows.
