Action plan for cultivated biodiversity approved!
Last Tuesday, the Local Varieties Commission of the Balearic Islands approved the action plan for cultivated biodiversity for a value of 3,087,000 euros. This is a very important milestone for continuing to advance in the conservation and promotion of local varieties in our territory.
The commission is made up of representatives of the entities that work with local varieties, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the island councils, agricultural organizations and the UIB. He will ensure the implementation of a set of measures to be developed until 2027 with the aim of promoting and promoting local varieties in the Balearic Islands.
