This year we are 20 years old!!
Next week it will be twenty years since a group of farmers, technicians and people involved in the conservation of local crops came together to form the Association of Local Varieties. And since this doesn't happen every day, to celebrate we have organized a great meeting with the members and collaborators of the organization for next Saturday, July 2! Download the pdf poster here.
It will be an act of celebration and promotion of local varieties, an opportunity to thank and recognize the work of so many people involved in the association over the years and recall these two decades of work by the AVL. There will be an exhibition of informative and educational materials from the organization as well as a sample of seeds from the catalog, all this in an unbeatable location such as Son Mut Nou (Llucmajor) where we will visit the collection of fig trees of local varieties , with more than 250 varieties from the Balearic Islands and more than 2500 from around the world. In addition, there will be tasting of products and recipes of local varieties, wine tasting and live commentary.
To register you must do it through of this form. It is an event for members and collaborators of the association, and each of the guests can bring an accompanying person. You have until next Friday, June 17 (we've extended the deadline!) to sign up for the party.

Remember that on the same day of the party we will hold a draw for the 5 baskets among all the people registered as partners until June 17th. Wine, flours, preserves, sweets, spices, infusions, fresh produce... Everything delicious and of local varieties! If you want to enter the draw and you are not yet a member, you have until the 17th to do so (become a member here). Remember that if you are already a member and bring someone else, you will have double participation!! (When someone becomes a member, the form asks if they are recommended by someone who is already a member).
